The fixtures for the upcoming season of the Premier League was announced on Wednesday as the English top-flight will get underway with champions Liverpool facing off against Bournemouth at Anfield on the 15th of August.

The first week of the most watched league on the planet promises some enticing football action as Manchester City visit Wolverhampton in their opener of the season, while Unai Emery’s Aston Villa will host Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United, who made it to the UEFA Champions League with a fifth place finish last season.
Brighton will welcome Fulham, while Nottingham Forest will take on Bentford. Newly promoted Sunderland will play West Ham in the opener, while UEFA Europa League winners Tottenham will take on promoted Burnley.
UEFA Europa Conference League winners Chelsea will play host to FA Cup winners Crystal Palace on the first Sunday of the campaign, while the biggest billing of the curtain-raiser weekend is reserved for a clash between Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal. Returning Leeds United will play Everton at Elland Road to close out the first gameweek.
Arsenal have a challenging opening couple of weeks as they are slated to take on Liverpool, Man City, and Newcastle, all sides that made it to the UCL, in their first half-a-dozen games. While Man United ares tasked to take on Fulham, Burnley, Man City and Cheslea after their first game of the season against the Gunners.
City, will face Tottenham and Bournemouth on the back of their opener against Wolves, before squaring up against Arsenal and United.
Chelsea are scheduled to play fellow London sides West Ham, Fulham and Brentford after their opener against Palace ahead of their first trip outside the Capital City to Manchester as they take on United in their fifth game of the season.
