Liverpool celebrated their 20th top-flight crown at Anfield, while City, Chelsea, Newcastle joined Arsenal, Liverpool in the Champions League spots on the last day of the season.

A jubilant Liverpool hoisted the Premier League title in front of their adoring fans at Anfield on the last day of the season.
The final game week in the English top-flight was marked by an unprecedented double guard of honour, as Crystal Palace showed their respect to PL winners Liverpool, who in turn acknowledged the FA Cup winners Palace with a guard of their own.
Liverpool had sealed their 20th top-flight title with three games left to play, while Palace got their first-ever title with a win over Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley last week.
Oliver Glasner, who led the Eagles to the coveted maiden title, saw his team take the lead against the Premier League champions as Ismaila Sarr netted in the 9th minute of the game.
Young PL player of the year Ryan Gravenberch was shown a red card in the second half, but the PL player of the season Mohamed Salah bagged his 29th strike of the campaign, albeit through a deflection, to draw the champions back on level terms as former coach Jurgen Klopp watched on from the stands.

Fulham vs Man City
Manchester City, who required just a draw against Fulham to secure their berth in the UEFA Champions League for next season were handed a quick start by Ilkay Gundogan, who put his side ahead with an aerial strike in the 21st minute of the game.
Erling Haaland turned the ball into the net from the spot in the second half as Pep Guardiola’s me finished third behind Liverpool and Arsenal in a troubled season.
Man United vs Aston Villa, Newcastle vs Everton
Champions League chasers Villa were handed a massive blow in the first period of the game as goalie Emi Martinez saw red for his foul on Rasmus Hojlund, as the Argentine hurled himself at the Dane outside the penalty area bringing an end to a goal-scoring opportunity and had to head back for an early shower.
United got themselves in front int the 76th minute courtesy of an Amad Diallo header at the end of a delicious ball in from skipper Bruno Fernandes.
Christian Eriksen doubled United’s lead from the spot in the 88th to help United finish a lackluster season with a consolation triumph and condemn Unai Emery’s Villa to a finish outside the UEFA Champions League places.
United’s victory helped Newcastle qualify for the UCL despite their 0-1 defeat to Everton as Carlos Alcaraz netted for the Toffees
Nottingham vs Chelsea
The top-billed game of the evening, due to the stakes that were involved, headed into a goalless halftime break before Levi Colwill broke the deadlock in the 50th minute.
Forest’s top-scorer this season, Chris Wood, saw a couple of noteworthy chaces come his way, but the towering striker couldn’t get the telling touch on either one as Nottingham missed out on a UCL spot in agonising fashion.

Southampton vs Arsenal
The Gunners took the lead in the 43rd minute of their trip to down south as Kieran Tierney found the net from close range before being pegged back in the second half by Ross Stewart.
Skipper Martin Odegaard ensured Arsenal would finish off with a win as he netted the winner in the 89th minute of the fixture.
Tottenham vs Brighton
Brighton pulled off a thrashing of UEL winners Tottenham as the Seagulls overturned a goal deficit by smashing four past Ange Postecoglou’s men in the final game of the saeson.
Elsewhere, Bournemouth posted a 2-0 win over relegated Leicester, while Wolves and Brentford played out a 1-1 draw at the Molineux.
