Enthusiasts who purchase bikes larger than 350cc are the ones who are going to have to shell out more money on their next purchase. The previous tax slab of 28 percent was reduced to 18 percent for bikes under 350cc and increased to an astonishing 40 percent for bikes over 350cc. Currently, we pay 28 percent GST plus 3 percent cess (included in the ex-showroom price), so it will be an overall 9 percent increase.
