The government’s recent GST slab revision has spelt good news for most automotive segments, particularly the sub-350cc two-wheeler class. While Royal Enfield’s lineup currently comprises 14 models – 9 of them above this threshold – its bread and butter in India is its 350cc range, comprising the popular Classic and Hunter models, among others.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 prices cut by over Rs 16,000
Classic 350 now starts at Rs 1.81 lakh
The 350cc lineup makes up the lion’s share of Royal Enfield’s monthly sales tally consistently and now all of them have become more affordable. The company has announced that it will be revising the prices of all five of its 349cc J-platform models come September 22. The maximum reduction in price is just under Rs 20,000.
Royal Enfield’s 350cc range starts with the Hunter 350 that is now priced at Rs 1.38 lakh at the bottom end and the most expensive 350 is the Goan Classic, that is now priced from Rs 2.18 lakh, as opposed to the earlier tag of Rs 2.37 lakh. These prices have come down considerably, and as you move up the range 350cc range, the price cut increases further.

While this is certainly good news for people looking to buy a 350cc Royal Enfield, the 450cc and 650cc models are soon going to become more expensive. The exact price hike will be shared in a future story, but you can expect an approximate increase of at least Rs 15,000, depending on the model and the more expensive 650s are likely to see an even bigger jump.
