Royal Enfield resumes sales of Scram 440

Scram 440 availability currently limited, will be ramped up gradually

A component called the Woodfruff key within the magneto was to blame and the issue was that isolated motorcycles’ engines were unwilling to start after having run for some time. The engine didn’t stall mid-ride, but in some cases it was unwilling to restart after having been turned off.

Royal Enfield has taken all the necessary steps to rectify this and the company assures us that the motorcycle will now function as originally intended. Currently, availability of the Scram 440 is limited and this is something we are told will be ramped up in a gradual manner.
