The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 6,500 posts for Senior Teachers across scheduled and non-scheduled areas in multiple subjects.

Applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age as on January 1, 2026.
RPSC Senior Teacher recruitment 2025: Educational qualifications
Applicants must meet the subject-specific academic requirements mentioned below to be eligible for the recruitment:
- Hindi, English, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi: Graduate degree with the concerned subject as optional, plus Bachelor of Education (BEd) from a National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) recognised institution.
- Social Science: Graduate degree with at least two subjects from History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, and Philosophy, along with a BEd from an NCTE-recognised institution.
- Science: Graduate degree with at least two subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry, along with a BEd from an NCTE-recognised institution.

The application fee for different categories has been prescribed as follows:
- General (Unreserved), Backward Class Creamy Layer, Most Backward Class Creamy Layer: Rs 600
- Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Class Non-Creamy Layer, Most Backward Class Non-Creamy Layer, Economically Weaker Section, Sahariya Primitive Tribe: Rs 400
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): Rs 400
