SEBA Assam HSLC Compartmental Result 2025: The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has released the HSLC (Class 10) compartment exam results for 2025 today, June 16. Students can now view their online marks statements on the official sites at sebaonline.org and results.assam.nic.in.
A total of 54,906 students applied for the HSLC (Matric) Compartmental examination, out of which 54,134 appeared for the exam. Of these, 13,585 students successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 25.09%.
Most of the successful candidates were placed in the third division, with 4,188 students securing third division marks. Additionally, 8,975 students achieved second division, while 422 students secured first division.
The HSLC compartment examination began on May 23 and concluded on May 29, 2025. The exams were held in two shifts each day — the first shift ran from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, while the second shift took place from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The examination started with MIL/English and Sanskrit papers and ended with Advanced Mathematics, Geography, History, Computer Science, Commerce, and Hindi papers.

To help students prepare better, the board provided an additional 15 minutes for reading the question papers.
The compartment examination was specifically for students who failed in up to three subjects in the regular HSLC examination but had scored at least 170 marks in total. To pass the compartment exam, a candidate was required to secure a minimum of 30% marks in the subjects they appeared for and achieve an overall score of 180 marks or above.

Earlier, the Assam Board (SEBA Division 1 or ASSEB) announced the HSLC regular exam results on April 11. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 63.98%. Among boys, the pass percentage was 67.59%, while girls recorded a pass percentage of 61.09%. Amishi Saikia from Jorhat district topped the examination with an impressive 98.50% marks.
