SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to declare the SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025 soon, with the announcement likely in the first week of December. Candidates across the country are waiting for the selection list, which will include roll numbers of those shortlisted for Tier 2. The result will be released on the official website, ssc.gov.in, in PDF format.
The Commission recently closed the objection window for the provisional answer key. The objections submitted by candidates are currently being evaluated, and the final answer key will be published after the results. SSC will also release post-wise and category-wise cut-off marks along with the result.
How To Check SSC CGL Tier 1 Result 2025?
Once released, candidates can follow these steps:
- Visit the official website: ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the Results tab on the homepage.
- Click on Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025 – Tier 1 Result.
- The PDF will open on the screen.
- Download and save the PDF.
- Press Ctrl + F and enter your roll number.
- If your roll number appears, you have qualified for Tier 2.
SSC will later display individual scorecards and the final answer key through candidate login.
Exam Held Across Multiple Shifts
The SSC CGL Tier 1 examination was held in multiple shifts across various centres. The paper included four sections: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. After the exam, the provisional answer key was released, allowing candidates to raise objections.

What Happens Next?
Candidates shortlisted in Tier 1 will be called for Tier 2, which is considered the main phase of selection. After Tier 2, SSC will prepare the merit list based on normalised marks and post preferences.
