News of a NEET aspirant allegedly killing his father has left many people disturbed. The case has raised serious questions about pressure, expectations and how young students deal with failure.

At a time like this, a founder’s post about rejection and second chances is getting attention. His message is simple, “Failure is not the end, and success does not come overnight.”

He Shares His Story Of Failure And Growth

Sumit Mittal wrote openly about his journey on X (formerly Twitter). He did not hide his setbacks.

His path was not easy. He failed major exams and went through money problems at home. He worked at a call centre to support himself. He studied BCA from a distant college, which many may not see as a top choice.

In his post, he said: “Yes, I failed IIT JEE twice. Yes, I failed my chemistry pre-board exam. Yes, my family faced a financial crisis. Yes, I worked at a call centre. Yes, I completed my BCA from a distant college. Yes, I started by teaching four students in a very small room.”

Still, he did not give up. He later secured AIR 4 in NIMCET and completed his MCA from NIT Trichy. Over the years, he worked with well-known product-based companies. Today, he mentors thousands of students and guides them through exams and career choices.

Speaking about the positives, he also shared, “But I got AIR 4 in NIMCET. But I completed my MCA from NIT Trichy. But I have worked with top product-based companies. But now I am a mentor to 1000s of students. Life is supposed to be full of ups and downs, I saw both sides. If you are facing rejection after rejection, don’t worry. Success is getting closer with every step.”

Many people praised his honesty. A user wrote, “Very essence of life summarised beautifully.”

Another said, “Failing and losing are terrible. But only those who don’t lose heart are successful.”

A comment read, “Resumes don’t show the scars, but your story proves that failures are just the setup for a massive comeback. From a small room to a mentor of thousands, inspiring.”

Others added messages like, “Well done! Wish you further success,” and “This is so inspiring. Proud of you, man.”

NEET Aspirant Case Shocks Lucknow

Coming to the incident that has left many shaken, police in Lucknow revealed chilling details of the crime.

On February 23, police in Lucknow said a 19-year-old youth allegedly shot his father at their home in the Aashiana area. The accused later confessed that he was under pressure to crack NEET.

Police said the father, 49, was a pathology lab owner. The incident reportedly happened around 4:30 am on February 20 after an argument about studies. The accused, identified as Akshat, allegedly used his father’s licensed rifle. He later tried to hide the crime.

DCP Central Zone Vikrant Vir said, “His inconsistent statements raised red flags. Strict interrogation led to his confession” as quoted by The Times of India. Police recovered body parts from the house and are continuing their investigation.
