Toyota Kirloskar Motor has rolled out fresh price hikes of up to Rs 26,000 on the Taisor SUV, along with the Rumion and Innova Crysta MPVs. This comes just over a month after Toyota raised Fortuner prices by up to 68,000. No changes or additions have been made to the features or powertrains of these Toyotas, and at the time of writing, the carmaker hasn’t commented on the reason behind these revised prices.
- No changes were made to the features and powertrain options on offer
- Innova Crysta prices have gone up the most
- Increased input costs, regulatory measures are likely reasons for increased rates
What’s notable is that Maruti recently raised prices for the Ertiga and Fronx mainly due to additional safety features, but Toyota, which sells rebadged versions of both, has hiked prices without offering any upgrades.
