The TVS Ntorq 125 is one of India’s most popular sporty scooters, combining peppy performance with sharp styling and segment-leading features. The scooter is available in five variants, and here’s what separates each one.
TVS Ntorq 125 variant breakdown
Disc
The base Disc variant costs Rs 81,250 and serves as the entry point to the Ntorq 125 range. The scooter is powered by a 124.8cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 9.5hp and 10.6Nm. Even as the entry-level variant, the scooter comes with a fully digital instrument console that displays the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter, engine temperature, and a lap timer.
TVS’ SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity is included as standard, offering call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and more. The Disc variant is available in three colours – Turquoise Blue, Harlequin Blue, and Nardo Grey.
Race Edition
The Race Edition is priced at Rs 86,550 and adds a sportier aesthetic with race-inspired graphics, such as a chequered flag motif. Mechanically and in terms of features, it remains identical to the base Disc variant, with the same digital cluster and connectivity. The price premium is purely for the exclusive styling.
It is available in two colours – Race Edition Red and Race Edition Blue, both featuring extensive black and grey detailing.
Super Squad Edition
The Super Squad Edition costs Rs 91,050 and is a special collaboration with Marvel, featuring graphics inspired by Avengers superheroes. Like the Race Edition, the Super Squad is mechanically identical to the base Disc variant and offers the same feature set as well.
This variant is available in four Marvel-themed colour schemes – Amazing Red (Spider-Man), Lightning Grey (Thor), Super Soldier (Captain America), and Stealth Black (Black Panther).
Race XP
The Race XP is priced at Rs 92,550 and brings the most notable mechanical changes to the Ntorq 125 lineup. While it uses the same 124.8cc engine, TVS has retuned it to produce slightly higher peak output figures of 10.2hp and 10.9Nm, which the company claims also enables a quicker 0–60kph time and higher top speed. The scooter weighs the same as the other variants at 111kg.
On the features front, the Race XP gets two riding modes – Street and Race – replacing the Street and Sport modes found on the other variants. All other features remain unchanged. The Race XP is available in three colours – Race Red, Dark Black, and Blaze Blue – all of which feature red alloy wheels.
XT
The range-topping XT variant is priced at just above Rs 1 lakh (Rs 1,00,150 to be precise). While it doesn’t get the additional performance of the Race XP – producing 9.5hp and 10.6Nm like the base variants – the XT is the most feature-rich scooter in the lineup.
Its most notable addition is the split-screen TFT display. Unlike the LCD console on the other variants, the XT gets a full-colour TFT screen on the left and a negative LCD display on the right. This console offers turn-by-turn navigation, voice commands, WhatsApp and Instagram notifications, incoming call and SMS alerts, a lap timer, and even live cricket scores and Amazon delivery notifications.
The XT is also the lightest variant in the lineup, weighing 2kg less than the others at 109kg. It is available in a single unique Neon colour scheme.
