The Union Public Service Commission has issued the admit cards for the Medical Officer (MO) exam 2025. The UPSC MO exam is scheduled for November 1, 2025. The UPSC Medical Officer exam 2025 admit card can be downloaded from the official website of the Union Public Service Commission, upsc.gov.in, using the registration number and password/date of birth.

It is essential to carry a valid photo ID (such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, or passport) along with the admit card for entry into the exam centre. Candidates may contact the Union Public Service Commission for any discrepancies in the admit card.

“Bring the print out of e-Admit Card along with the original Photo Identity Card, as mentioned in the e-Admit Card, to secure admission to Recruitment Test Centre. E-Admit Card must be preserved till the declaration of Recruitment Test Result,” reads the official notice.

Candidates must carefully read all the instructions on the admit card. They are advised to arrive at the centre on time on the exam day and bring all required documents. “Please note that entry into the Venue of Recruitment Test shall be closed 30 minutes before the schedule commencement of the Recruitment Test i.e. 01:30 PM. No candidate shall be allowed the entry into the Venue of Recruitment Test after closure of the entry,” the UPSC notice stated.

Selection Process

The selection process for this role consists of two parts: a written exam and an interview. Therefore, prepare for both the interview and the written exam. The selection process for the UPSC Medical Officer exam has two main stages that determine the final merit: Stage 1: Written Exam – 500 marks (2 papers of 250 marks each), an objective test covering medical knowledge and related subjects. Stage 2: Personality Test – 100 marks, assessing personality, mental alertness, and communication skills.

The final selection of the Medical Officer is based on the total marks obtained in both the written exam (500 marks) and the interview (100 marks), for a combined total of 600 marks.
