According to the USDA weekly export sales report, the increases were primarily for Malaysia (25,600 RB), Bangladesh (25,400 RB), and Vietnam (15,200 RB, including 2,200 RB switched from China, 400 RB from South Korea, 400 RB from Hong Kong, 100 RB from Japan, and a decrease of 500 RB). Other increases were for Thailand (14,800 RB, including a decrease of 500 RB) and Indonesia (8,900 RB, including 100 RB switched from Japan). These gains were partially offset by reductions for Hong Kong (400 RB), China (400 RB), South Korea (400 RB), and Guatemala (100 RB).
US upland cotton net sales reached 108,400 RB for the 2024–25 season, up 4 per cent from the prior week but down 21 per cent from the four-week average.
Major buyers included Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.
Pima sales rose to 13,200 RB. Exports totalled 366,000 RB, led by Vietnam and Turkiye.
Pima shipments dropped 73 per cent to 3,900 RB, primarily to India, Egypt, and Peru.
Net sales of 32,900 RB for the 2025–26 season were reported for Indonesia (15,800 RB), Pakistan (15,400 RB), China (900 RB), Turkiye (600 RB), and Vietnam (200 RB).
For the week, export shipments totalled 366,000 RB, up 25 per cent from the previous week and 5 per cent from the prior four-week average. The primary destinations were Vietnam (108,000 RB), Turkiye (96,100 RB), Pakistan (52,300 RB), Bangladesh (28,100 RB), and Malaysia (11,100 RB).
Net sales of Pima cotton totalling 13,200 RB for 2024–25 were up significantly from both the previous week and the prior four-week average. The main increases were for Vietnam (5,500 RB, including 100 RB switched from Japan), Peru (3,500 RB), Egypt (3,000 RB), Bangladesh (400 RB, including a decrease of 700 RB), and India (400 RB). These were partially offset by a reduction for Japan (200 RB). Total net sales of 200 RB for 2025–26 were reported for Turkiye.
Export shipments of Pima cotton totalled 3,900 RB, down 73 per cent from the previous week and 64 per cent from the prior four-week average. The primary destinations were India (2,300 RB), Egypt (900 RB), Peru (400 RB), Pakistan (100 RB), and Japan (100 RB).
