The MG Majestor was recently revealed, with its launch slated for April 2026. Along with the specifications and powertrain, MG revealed Gloster will be offered in two trims: Sharp and Savvy, as well as the features available in these trims. In MG’s lineup, it will be positioned above the Gloster and serves as the flagship ICE SUV for the manufacturer.

The MG Majestor is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that puts out 215hp and 478Nm, that also does duties in the higher trims of the MG Gloster. It is mated with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, which sends power to either the rear wheels (RWD) or all four wheels (4WD). The lower-spec Sharp trim is available with a RWD setup only, while the fully loaded Savvy trim is offered with both RWD and 4WD choices.

The MG Majestor is available in four colour options: Black Ash, Black Metal, Concrete Grey, and Pearl White. All the colour options are available with both the trims. Inside, the Majestor is finished in an all-black hue.

MG Majestor Savvy (features over Sharp)

Seating layout: 6 (available with RWD) or 7 seats

The MG Majestor’s entry-spec Sharp trim is well-equipped with features like two 12.3-inch screens, a 360-degree camera, two wireless phone chargers, a powered tailgate, and all-LED headlights, which are just a few of the many features available on the entry-level Sharp trim.  Although it does not have a panoramic sunroof or a high-end sound system, it does have all the essentials. However, it misses out on a 4WD and a 6-seater option, and if you want this, you will have to go for the higher-spec Savvy. 

Pre-bookings are open at Rs 41,000 and prices of the MG Majestor will be revealed in April 2026, which we expect to range from Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh. It will lock horns with the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, Skoda Kodiaq, and the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron.
