After commencing pre-bookings for the Tayron R-Line earlier this month, Volkswagen India is now set to disclose its ex-showroom price on February 19. The Tayron R-Line, essentially the 3-row version of the Tiguan R-Line, is being locally assembled in the country and it will serve as the carmaker’s new flagship SUV here. Both online and offline bookings are currently underway for a token amount of Rs 51,000, and we expect VW to price the Tayron R-Line at around Rs 46 lakh-48 lakh. A lower-spec Tayron variant is going to join the lineup later this year.

Matrix LED headlamps, 19-inch alloys, illuminated front and rear VW roundels will offered on the top-spec R-Line version, along with XX exterior colour options – Dolphin Grey Metallic, Oyster Silver Metallic, Ultraviolet Metallic, Cipressino Green Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic and Oryx White Mother-of-Pearl Effect.
