The intense night saw Jey Uso battle for supremacy against Miz with the ultimate intention to face John Cena in his last fight, apart from LA Knight conquering the challenge against a mystery opponent and more.

Jey Uso Face Off The Miz
Jey Uso and The Miz collided in the first tournament match to determine the legendary Cena’s final opponent next month. The two wrestlers played aggressively from the beginning, with The Miz coming up with the initial blows before Uso retaliated strongly. Uso managed to recover from a finisher executed by The Miz and thwarted his attempted pinfall. He later took control of the proceedings and ultimately hammered his opposition to seal an impressive victory.
LA Knight Against Mystery Opponent
The action continued in the Last Time Is Now tournament with LA Knight’s battle against his mystery opponent, who, as it was later discovered, was Matt Cardona or Zack Ryder as he is known in WWE. It was a clash between two players who operate with near-similar styles inside the ring. Despite several blows thrown at each other, neither fighter could seem to impose himself on the other for too long. In the dying moments, however, Knight produced a decisive Blunt Force Trauma on his opponent and bagged home a win that he would’ve been proud of.
Ilja Dragunov Clashes With Axiom
Next up, the WWE fans in New York saw Ilja Dragunov take on Axiom to try and defend his WWE United States Championship title. In a highly entertaining contest, the two wrestlers gave each other a really hard time. They exchanged several heavy blows, with Axiom showing his athleticism and Dragunov his great versatility. But Axiom couldn’t maintain his footing as deep into the contest as the reigning champion did. The victory ultimately fell in Dragunov’s favour, as he reinforced his status as one of SmackDown’s most consistent performers.
Jade Cargill Against B-Fab
After winning the WWE Women’s Championship against Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill faced off against B-Fab at this week’s SmackDown episode. Hot favourite to clinch another win, Cargill looked at her dominant best from the beginning, while B-Fab tried hard to keep the opponent’s powerful moves at bay. The champion wrestler hit a chokeslam on B-Fab, followed by two powerbombs, before closing off the proceedings with a finisher. It was an easy win at the end for Cargill, one that sent a strong message across to her rivals.
