2026 F1 Canadian GP schedule, India timings, Indy 500, F2 Canada, DTM Zandvoort – Introduction

Motorsport fans are in for a treat this weekend, with four events across the globe. F1 heads to a classic venue – Montreal’s Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve – for the Canadian GP. And it’s another sprint round, so a maximum of 33 points are up for grabs.

We also have the 110th running of the iconic Indy 500 coming up, along with Round 2 of DTM at Zandvoort. Here is your complete guide on when and where to tune in from India.

F1 Canadian GP schedule

2026 F1 Canadian GP schedule, India timings, Indy 500, F2 Canada, DTM Zandvoort – Introduction

Canada has delivered some of F1’s most iconic and exciting races in the past. The 2026 edition further ups the ante with the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve hosting a sprint round for the very first time.

Of course, the big story heading into the Canadian GP is the dominance of Kimi Antonelli. The 19-year-old has claimed three back-to-back wins to build a solid 20-point lead in the standings. But Canada has been a strong venue for his teammate George Russell in the past. The Mercedes driver won last year’s race from pole position and converted pole into a podium finish the year before that.

McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari are also playing catch-up after bringing several key upgrades to the Miami GP. Lando Norris even led home a McLaren 1-2 in the Miami Sprint. With three more weeks to further go through data and fine-tune things, expect another close battle in Canada.

F2 Canadian GP schedule

2026 F1 Canadian GP schedule, India timings, Indy 500, F2 Canada, DTM Zandvoort – Introduction

F2 will race in Canada for the very first time, which means teams have no prior data to fall back on. Nikola Tsolov holds a slender one-point lead over Gabriele Mini in the drivers’ championship.

After a difficult start to the season, India’s Kush Maini has climbed up to P12 in the standings following a more encouraging Miami GP.

2026 Indy 500 schedule

2026 F1 Canadian GP schedule, India timings, Indy 500, F2 Canada, DTM Zandvoort – Introduction

The 110th running of the Indy 500 takes place this Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Four-time IndyCar Series champion and defending Indy 500 race winner Alex Palou will start from pole position. He’ll be attempting to become only the seventh driver in history to win back-to-back editions of the Indy 500.

Drama has already struck the field before race day, though. Alexander Rossi, who qualified P2, suffered a heavy practice crash earlier this week. Just three days after having surgery on his right ankle and left-hand finger, he’s been cleared to drive in the Indy 500. Pato O’Ward was also collected in the same incident; both he and Rossi will be competing in backup cars.

Sunday’s race will also feature four Indy 500 rookies, including Mick Schumacher, who will drive the No. 47 Honda.
