Lexus LM 350h luxury MPV bookings reopened


Lexus India has reopened order books for the LM 350h luxury MPV following an eight-month halt. The LM 350h was launched in India in March 2024, but Lexus temporarily suspended new bookings in September 2024 in an effort to manage persistent supply chain constraints and fulfil existing orders. Prospective customers can now place bookings for the LM 350h via the official Lexus India website or by visiting a Lexus dealership.

The LM 350h features typical luxury MPV styling, with large proportions and a boxy profile. Up front, the LM 350h gets the hallmark Lexus spindle grille flanked by sharp LED headlights and vertically oriented fog-lamp housings. The side profile features sliding rear doors and 19-inch alloy wheels, and at the rear, a connected tail-lamp setup takes prominence.

Cabin is packed with creature comforts

The interior of the LM 350h is available in two upholstery options – Black and Solis White – and can be had with either a 4-seat or 7-seat configuration. The premium people mover is also equipped with high-end features like a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 48-inch rear entertainment display, lounge seating, 4-zone climate control, a 23-speaker sound system, wireless phone chargers, fold-out tables, heated and ventilated seats with electrical adjustment, an in-built refrigerator, among others. Safety is taken care of with 10 airbags, a 360-degree camera, an ADAS suite, traction control, ABS with EBD, and more.

Comes with a strong hybrid powertrain

Under the hood, the LM 350h is powered by a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine mated to a strong hybrid system, producing a combined 250hp and 239Nm of torque. This setup is paired with an e-CVT automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels.

Rs 88 lakh more expensive than its Toyota counterpart

Prices for the Lexus LM 350h start at Rs 2.10 crore for the 7-seat variant, while the 4-seat version costs Rs 2.62 crore. In India, the LM 350h primarily rivals its sibling, the Toyota Vellfire, which is about Rs 88 lakh cheaper. The LM 350h also goes up against more affordable luxury MPVs like the Kia Carnival (Rs 63.91 lakh) and the upcoming MG M9 (Rs 65 lakh, estimated).
