For a Rs 27,000 premium, the XC offers a lot of accessories as standard

Mechanically, the Scrambler 400 XC is identical to the 400 X, sharing the same 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, chassis, and suspension setup.

However, it distinguishes itself with a set of cross-spoke wheels that support tubeless tyres, instead of the alloy wheels seen on the standard model. The XC also gets better standard protection with a new aluminium sump guard and an engine guard.

The bike has the same grab rails as the Triumph Speed 400, a body-coloured high-mounted front fender and a body-coloured flyscreen. It is worth noting that the India-spec Scrambler 400 XC will continue to get the MRF Zapper Kurve tyres.

The Scrambler 400 XC costs Rs 27,000 more than the Scrambler 400 X, which is priced at Rs 2.67 lakh, and it is positioned closer to rivals such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure X. It will be sold alongside the 400 X and Speed 400.
