JAC 8th Result 2025: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the class 8 results 2025. Students who appeared for the 8th exam will be able to get their original mark sheets from their schools soon. The scorecards can only be downloaded by the principals of the respective schools from the official website at jacresults.com. They will need to add their username and password to access the results online.
This year, 5,18,023 students had registered for the Jharkhand Board Class 8 exam of which 4,99,972 appeared. Out of these, 4,71,937 children passed the exam taking the overall pass percentage to 94.39 per cent. This year, Class 8 exam was conducted on March 10.
Looking at the district-wise result of Jharkhand class 8, Bokaro is on top. A total of 22,406 children had registered from here. Out of which 21,951 children had given the exam and 20,916 passed.
Subject wise, a total of 46951 students have got A+ grade in Hindi and English papers. Whereas, only 2578 students have got A+ grade in Mathematics, Science and Social Science.

JAC 8th Result 2025: Passing Marks
The Jharkhand Board Class 8th results follow a five-point grading system, with each grade having a corresponding range of marks. Students who score 80 per cent or above receive a grade of A+, while those who score between 60 and 80 per cent receive an A grade. Similarly, grade B is awarded to those who achieve 45 to 60 per cent, and grade C is awarded to those who score 33 to 45 per cent. To pass the exam, every candidate must obtain a grade of at least C.

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of JAC at jac.jharkhand.gov.in or jacresults.com.
Step 2: On the webpage, search for and click on the link designated for JAC 8th Result 2025.
Step 3: Once done, you will be redirected to a new page where you have to key in your roll number and date of birth.
Step 4: Hit submit, and your JAC Class 8 marksheet will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Save a copy of the result and take a printout for future use.
JAC 8th Result 2025: What Happened Last Year?
Last year, as many as 5,61,774 students participated in the class 8 exam. Out of these, a commendable 5,28,962 students successfully qualified for the exam. The board recorded the overall pass percentage as 94.16 per cent. A total of 32,471 students, which accounts for 5.78 per cent of the examinees, were placed in the marginal category.
