2025 Transalp gets revised feature-set, updated suspension settings
The Honda XL750 Transalp is a highly accomplished middleweight adventure bike, and Honda has now given it a few valuable updates. The easiest of these to identify is the new headlamp design, which uses a small and sleek bi-LED setup. Honda has also redesigned the front windscreen, which gets a new central duct that is supposed to improve airflow over the rider’s helmet.
Another crucial update that Honda has made is to tweak the suspension, with reduced damping at the front and a firmer shock at the rear. This is a change we look forward to experiencing, as we discovered in our review that the current Transalp’s rear shock feels soft and soggy, especially with a pillion on board.

The changes don’t end there, and the new Transalp 750 gets a different 5-inch TFT display and updated switchgear similar to what’s on the NX500. On the Transalp, this Bluetooth-compatible display has more customisation options.
The only missing feature we were hoping to see added is tubeless wheels, but the bike continues to use tubed tyres. The XL750 Transalp is now available in three new colours, namely Rose White, Graphite Black and Pearl Deep Mud Grey.
Beyond these changes, the Honda XL750 Transalp remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 755cc parallel-twin that produces 91.7hp at 9,500rpm and 75Nm at 7,250rpm. Our sources suggest that Honda is aiming to continue with the Rs 10.99 lakh ex-showroom price in India when it goes on sale in the next month or two.
