Brighton finished the latest season of the PL in 8th place with 61 points to their name thanks to 16 wins and 13 draws. The Seagulls will look to improve on their showing in the upcoming season of the English top-flight.
Earlier, PL strugglers Tottenham named former Brentford coach Thomas Frank as their new head coach following the sacking of Ange Postecoglou, who led Spurs to their first trophy in 17 years with the UEL title with a win over Manchester United in the summit clash in Bilbao, after the Australian manager only managed a 17th-place finish in the Premier League 2024/25 season.
The 51-year-old Frank, who took Brentford to the English top-flight from the second-tier Championship during his lengthy tenure at the helm of the Bees, penned a three-year-contract with the Capital City club.
