The Bar Council of India (BCI) announced the official notification for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE 20) on September 26. As per the notification, registration for AIBE XX (20) will begin on September 29. The last date to apply is October 28, 2025, and the deadline for online payments is October 29, 2025. The notification for AIBE XX is now available on the official website at allindiabarexamination.com.
Candidates have until October 31, 2025, to make corrections to their registration forms. BCI will issue the admit cards for the law exam online starting from November 15, 2025, with the examination scheduled for November 30, 2025.

AIBE 20 Notification: Steps To Check
Step 1. Visit the official websites: allindiabarexamination.com or barcouncilofindia.org.
Step 2. On the home page, click the link to view the AIBE 20 notification.
Step 3. Upon clicking the link, the official notification will appear on the screen.
Step 4. Download the notification to check exam dates, eligibility, etc.
Step 5. Keep a printout for future reference.
All India Bar Examination is a mandatory qualifying exam for law graduates wishing to practice law in India. To be eligible, candidates must have completed a three-year or five-year LLB course from a university or college recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
AIBE 20 Exam Pattern
The AIBE Exam will be conducted offline in a pen and paper format. It will consist of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs), with each question carrying one mark. Candidates will have three hours to complete the exam.
According to the marking scheme, candidates will earn one mark for each correct answer, with no negative marking. To pass the exam, general category candidates need to score at least 45% while Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks.
