When people hear stories of NEET success, they may imagine students from privileged families, equipped with expensive coaching, costly books, and every possible resource. But that is not always the case. Some journeys are so inspiring that they prove how strong determination and passion can overcome even the toughest hardships. One such inspiring story is that of Mohammad Suhel, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

The son of a rickshaw puller who struggled every day to support his family, Suhel dreamed of becoming a doctor. Facing serious financial difficulties, he decided to work and support his father. He started driving a rickshaw on the streets of Muzaffarnagar, earning around Rs 300 – Rs 500 per day to contribute to his family’s needs. Despite poverty and challenges, his mother’s dream of seeing him succeed and Suhel’s determination kept him moving forward.

Drove a rickshaw, worked at a small shop, gave tuition

Coming from a financially weak family in Muzaffarnagar, Suhel completed his Class 12 education from a government school under the UP Board. After school, the pressure to support his family increased. Even working at a small shop was not enough to meet their needs, so he began driving a rickshaw to earn a daily income.

His mother always wanted him to continue his studies and become a doctor, but paying lakhs of rupees for coaching was impossible. Through a friend, Suhel learned that a good NEET score could help him secure admission to a government medical college with affordable fees.

To manage his studies and expenses, Suhel started tutoring Class 11 students. Teaching helped him revise his own concepts while also providing some financial support. During this period, he discovered the Rs 300 online course “Yakeen 2.0.” His real challenge began after joining the course. Having studied in Hindi medium, he initially struggled because the study material was in English. However, he refused to quit and started learning 50 new English words every day to improve his understanding.

Faced failure but refused to give up

When Suhel appeared for NEET for the first time, he scored only 109 marks out of 720. For many students, such a result could have been heartbreaking. Some people around him even mocked him, but his mother continued to stand by him and encouraged him to keep trying.

Suhel analysed his mistakes and worked harder. Biology, which he once found difficult and uninteresting, gradually became his strongest subject. He followed a strict routine—driving a rickshaw during the day and studying late into the night. Slowly, his mock test scores improved from 109 to 369 and continued to rise.

Achieved 552 marks in NEET

The journey to medical college was full of struggles. There were times when disappointing mock test scores left Suhel frustrated, and he even considered choosing another career path like BAMS. But the support of his teachers and his mother’s constant belief in him helped him stay focused.

Finally, Suhel cleared NEET with 552 marks out of 720. His achievement was not just a score—it was the result of his hard work, his father’s sacrifices, and his mother’s unwavering faith.

Mohammad Suhel’s NEET success story is a powerful inspiration for students across the country who feel limited by their circumstances. It proves that with dedication, perseverance, and courage, even the most difficult dreams can become a reality.
