UP Board Result 2026: The evaluation of answer sheets for the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) 2026 exams has commenced in Prayagraj on Wednesday, March 18 and is expected to be completed by April 1. With the process underway, students and parents are eagerly anticipating the results, which are likely to be announced in mid-April. However, a significant issue has arisen, causing concern about the students’ futures.
Approximately 6,294 schools in the state have yet to upload their internal assessment scores to the board’s official website. This issue affects students in both high school (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12). Class 10 students were required to submit internal assessment scores for various subjects, while Class 12 students needed to upload marks for subjects such as moral education, yoga, sports, and physical education.
Taking this negligence seriously, UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh has issued immediate instructions to the principals of the concerned schools. Singh has mandated that all schools must upload students’ internal assessment marks to the board’s website by March 25 through the official portal, upmsp.edu.in.
The Board has made it clear that there will be no opportunity to upload marks after March 25. If a student’s result is affected due to the lack of internal assessment marks, the principal of the concerned school will be held responsible. Additionally, the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) will also be held accountable for lax supervision at the district level. This situation is alarming for students, as internal assessments significantly impact their results.
Therefore, schools have been directed to recognise their responsibility and complete all necessary work on time. To ensure transparency in the education system and protect students’ interests, it is essential that all institutions adhere to the prescribed deadlines.
About 3 crore answer sheets will be checked for class 10th and 12th combined. Manual checking continues as before but digital uploading has started in some schools/centres. There is a facility to upload marks online.
