Hyundai has announced that prices of its models will be hiked by 1 percent from May 2026. While model-specific price increment has not been disclosed, the manufacturer has stated in a stock exchange filing that “the quantum of increase will vary based on the variants and models.”
- Depending on the model, prices will increase from Rs 5,500 to Rs 4.63 lakh
- Rising input costs are attributed to the price hike announcement
- Hyundai had earlier raised prices by 0.6 percent in January
Hyundai justified the price hike in its stock exchange filing, stating, “the escalating input costs have necessitated to pass on a part of this impact through a marginal price revision.”
