The Bangladesh cabinet recently approved the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Incentive Scheme Policy, 2026.
The approval came at the cabinet’s ninth meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
The policy, initiated by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), aims at encouraging expatriate Bangladeshis and other Bangladeshi citizens to contribute to attracting FDI through incentive support, according to domestic media reports.
