The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has declared the class 10 or HSLC results 2026 today, April 10 at 10:30 AM. A total of 65.62% of the students passed the exam which is a slight increase compared to last year when 63.98% cleared the exam. However, this is lower compared to 2024 when 75.7% of the students passed the exam.

Last year, the Board recorded an overall pass percentage of 63.98%, reflecting a sharp decline from 75.7% from 2025. Boys performed better than girls, with a pass percentage of 67.59%, compared to 61.09% for girls.
Out of 4,29,249 candidates who appeared for the Assam HSLC 2026, only 2,81,701 passed. Dima Hasao is the top-performing district with 88.23% pass rate followed by Sivasagar with 84.08%, and Dibrugarh with 78.46%.

Jyotirmay Das from Barpeta District secure the top rank with 591 marks. Akankha Bhuyan from Biswanath District secured rank 2 with 589 marks, and Surjit Akhtar from Nalbari District secured 588 marks and grabbed the third spot.

Students who appeared for the exam can now view and download their Assam Board Class 10 results from the official websites: results.sebaonline.org, assseb.in, sebaonline.org, and resultsassam.nic.in.
The SEBA Assam Board Class 10 examinations 2026 were held from February 10 to 27. During this period, 4,38,564 candidates sat for the Assam HSLC Exams 2026 at 1,046 examination centres. Among them, 1,90,243 were male students and 2,48,322 were female students.
To qualify in the HSLC examination, students must obtain at least 30 per cent marks in each subject as well as overall. Candidates scoring 60 per cent or more are placed in first division, those securing between 45 per cent and 59 per cent are placed in second division, and those with scores from 30 per cent to 44 per cent fall under third division. Students who achieve 80 per cent in any subject receive letter marks for that subject, while those scoring 80 per cent or above in aggregate are awarded distinction. SEBA will publish the division-wise results along with the list of toppers.
