The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) held its elections on Friday. Following the vote, Bruno Pavlovsky, president of Chanel, was re-elected as FHCM president for a further four-year term, while Pascal Morand was confirmed in his role as executive president.

The newly elected Executive Committee will also continue with Cédric Charbit of Saint Laurent, Elsa Lanzo of Rick Owens, Guillaume de Seynes of Hermès, and Sidney Toledano of Maison Givenchy/LVMH. Myriam Serrano of Alaïa joins the Executive Committee, while Anouck Duranteau-Loeper of Isabel Marant is stepping down.
The Management Committee, which includes the members of the Executive Committee, has also reappointed Delphine Arnault of Christian Dior Couture, Pietro Beccari of Louis Vuitton, Delphine Bellini of Schiaparelli, Étienne Bourgois of Agnès b., Gianfranco Gianangeli of Balenciaga, Axel Keller of Dries van Noten, Pierre Mahéo of Officine Générale, Laurent Malecaze of Chloé, and Séverine Merle of Celine. Sarah Benady of Jacquemus, Catherine Jacquet of Isabel Marant, and Gaetano Sciuto of Margiela are joining the committee, while Laetitia Mergui of Lemaire, Anouck Duranteau-Loeper of Isabel Marant, and Stefano Rosso of Margiela are stepping down. The brands and fashion houses remain members of the FHCM.
As the body responsible for organising Paris Fashion Weeks (Women’s, Men’s, Couture) and their calendars, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode relies on five commissions as well as a Parisian Couture Branch to analyse developments in the sector in close consultation with its members.
The outcomes of this work and dialogue enable the FHCM, in particular, to contribute to discussions on French and European regulations- such as the AGEC law in 2020 and the Climate and Resilience law in 2021- by representing the industry’s interests. Finally, the federation maintains close ties with the Institut Français de la Mode.
