BSEB Bihar Board 10th Result 2026 Date: Lakhs of students who took the Bihar School Examination Board’s Matriculation exam are eagerly awaiting their results. Continuing its tradition, the Bihar Board plans to release the results earlier this year compared to other education boards in the country.
The countdown for the announcement of the Bihar Board 10th results has already started. According to media reports, the results could be released on March 20, however, the BSEB is yet to confirm the exact date and time. Updates can be checked at biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
The results will be announced through a press conference at the board headquarters in Patna. State Education Minister and Board Chairman Anand Kishore will provide details such as the topper list and pass percentage. To check the Bihar Board 10th Result 2026, students will need their roll code and roll number. The Bihar Board is known not only for conducting exams on time but also for being the first to release results.
When Will Bihar Board 10th Result Be Released?
The Bihar Board Matriculation results are expected to be released in the last week of March. According to media reports, the results could be announced any time between March 27 and March 31, 2026. Last year, the board also released the results on March 31. Currently, the physical verification of Bihar Board toppers is underway, and the result date will be announced as soon as it is completed.

How Is Bihar Board Result Prepared?
This time too, Bihar Board has used step-wise marking in preparing the result.
Objective Questions: Objective questions carrying 50% of the total marks are computer-checked.
Passing Marks: To pass the Bihar Board exam, it is mandatory to score at least 30% marks in each subject.
Grace Marks: If a student is failing in one or two subjects with fewer marks, the board can pass them by giving grace marks.
What After Result?
These are the options after the release of Bihar Board 10th Result 2026:
Scrutiny (Re-evaluation): If you are not satisfied with your marks, you can apply for re-checking of your copy by paying the fee per subject.
Compartment Exam: Students who fail in one or two subjects will get a chance to appear in the compartment exam to save the year.
Class 11th Admission: Successful students will be able to take admission in their preferred stream (Science, Commerce, Arts) through the OFSS portal.
