CBSE Class 10 Second Board Results 2026 Date Time Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 second phase board exam results soon. However, the exact result date and time is awaited. Once released, students will be able to check their CBSE Class 10 second board results 2026 on the official websites — cbse.gov.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, umang.gov.in, and cbse.nic.in.

To pass the CBSE Class 10 examination, students must secure at least 33% marks. Along with marks, the Board also awards grades based on performance. The board follows a 9-point grading system ranging from A1 to E, with A1 being the highest grade and E indicating failure.

As per the grading system of CBSE, the top one-eighth of successful candidates are awarded Grade A1, followed by Grade A2 for the next one-eighth. Grades B1 and B2 are assigned to the subsequent two one-eighth segments of passed students. Similarly, Grades C1, C2, D1, and D2 are allotted to the remaining one-eighth groups of successful candidates. Students who do not pass the examination are awarded Grade E.

This year, nearly 6.7 lakh students registered for the second board examinations. Among them, around 5.25 lakh students appeared for improvement exams, while more than 85,000 candidates took the examination under the compartment category. Students who successfully clear the Class 10 examination will be eligible for admission to Class 11.
