A Sunday evening post from DigiLocker sparked excitement among students about the CBSE 12th Result 2026. The post stated, “CBSE Class XII Results 2026 Coming Soon on DigiLocker.” Now, UMANG app too has posted on X stating that the Class 12 results are “coming soon”.

To pass the CBSE 12th exams, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject as well as overall. if required, students can obtain a photocopy of their verified answer sheet, and if they remain dissatisfied, and may apply for re-evaluation. CBSE also usually allows students to appear for compartment or supplementary exams if they score low marks.
A total of 91.25% of girls successfully cleared the board exams last year, outshining boys by 5.94 percentage points, with the boys’ pass percentage standing at 85.31%. Overall, the pass percentage in 2025 stood at 88.39%, reflecting an increase of 0.41% from 2024 when 87.98% of the students passed the exam.
