According to details available on Digital Parliament, Dharmendra Pradhan was born on June 26, 1969, in Talcher, Odisha. His father, Dr. Debendra Pradhan, served as a Union Minister of State during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee-led government. Coming from a politically active family, Dharmendra Pradhan developed an interest in public life early on. Dharmendra Pradhan started his political journey through student activism. He later took up important responsibilities in the BJP’s youth wing, and eventually became the national president of the BJYM.
