The grille also gets a new design with a honeycomb pattern, and the restyled bumper gets new air inlets at either edges and a revised air dam. Furthermore, the Honda badge is now placed above the grille instead of on it, and there’s a new design for the dual-tone alloy wheels, too.

Uncamouflaged spy images have also indicated at a freestanding infotainment display on the inside, suggesting that a larger unit may be offered in place of the current 8.0-inch unit. This could bring about a minor redesign for the dashboard.

While the leaked images only give us a look of the front-end, the rear of the City facelift is expected to receive a do-over as well. Honda could also introduce new features such as a powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, and an optional 360-degree camera. There could also be new trim pieces and upholstery onboard.

As for powertrains, the City facelift is expected to continue with the current versions’ 121hp, 145Nm, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. The 126hp e:HEV hybrid, paired with an e-CVT, would be retained as well.

Expect the City facelift to be priced slightly higher than the current model’s price range of Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. It will continue to rival the likes of the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia and the Volkswagen Virtus
