“I urge all members of industry bodies, export promotion councils [EPCs], and chambers from across India and the US to connect, make this portal part of your business and help turn it into a powerful engine for India-US trade,” Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said in a video message at the launch.
Indian foreign secretary Vikram Misri yesterday virtually launched the India-US Trade Facilitation Portal to unlock new trade opportunities, improve ease of doing business and support MSMEs and start-ups, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs announced.
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal urged industry bodies, EPCs and chambers from both sides to connect through this portal.
“Today’s launch is a timely, forward-looking step, adding momentum to digital initiatives like the DGFT’s [Directorate General of Foreign Trade] Trade Connect portal. It reflects the depth and dynamism of our partnership,” he added.
