JEE Main 2026 Results Declared: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the JEE Main 2026 April session, along with the list of top-performing candidates. This session saw participation from more than 11 lakh students, making it one of the most competitive engineering entrance exams in the country.

According to official data released on April 20, a total of 26 candidates secured a perfect 100 percentile in Session 2. The exam was conducted at 566 centres across India, and the results highlight a strong performance from students across different states and regions.

Compared to last year, there has been a slight rise in the number of top scorers. In 2025, 24 candidates had achieved a perfect score, while this year the number has gone up to 26. The results also show a broader spread of toppers, indicating that high scores are no longer limited to a few regions.

In terms of category-wise performance, the majority of top scorers belong to the General category. Out of the 26 candidates, 24 are from the General category, while one candidate each belongs to the General-EWS and OBC-NCL categories.

A key observation this year is the absence of female candidates among the top scorers. All 26 students who secured a perfect 100 percentile in the April session are male.

The release of the topper list marks an important milestone for aspirants, as it sets the stage for the next phase of the admission process to premier engineering institutions across the country.
