JEE Main 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency has offered a final opportunity for those who haven’t completed their applications. After multiple requests from candidates, the board has decided to reopen the registration window. Those who are yet to fill out the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 form, may apply immediately at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
According to the NTA notification, the registration window has been reactivated today, March 12, at noon. Candidates need to be aware that this window will remain open only until 9 pm tomorrow, March 13. No additional application opportunities will be provided after this deadline. The NTA has also confirmed that there will be no correction window available this time. Hence, it is crucial to be meticulous while filling out the application form.
JEE Main 2026: Registration Schedule
As per the latest notification by NTA, candidates have a limited timeframe to complete their JEE Main 2026 registration and fee submission:
Registration starts: March 12, 2026 (active from noon)
Last Date of Registration: March 13, 2026 (till 9:00 PM)
Last date for fee submission: March 13, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM).
How To Apply For JEE Main 2026 Session 2?
Follow these steps to fill out the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 form:
1. Visit the official website of NTA JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the link ‘Registration for JEE Main 2026 Session 2’ on the homepage.
3. Register by entering your basic details (name, email, and mobile number).
4. After receiving the login ID, complete the application form.
5. Upload the required documents (such as photograph and signature).
6. Pay the fees online according to your category and download the confirmation page.
When Will JEE Main Session 2 Exam Be Held?
The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exams are scheduled between April 2 and April 9, 2026. Admit cards will be released approximately a week before the exam on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates are advised to regularly check the NTA’s official website for the latest updates.
No Correction Opportunity
The NTA has clearly stated that there will be no correction window available this time. This means that after submitting the form, you will not be able to modify any information such as your name, parents’ names, photo, signature, or exam centre. Any errors found in the form may result in the rejection of the application. Therefore, thoroughly review all details using the Preview button before submitting.
“Candidates are advised to ensure that all the information entered during the online registration process is accurate and complete. As this is special extended period, no correction facility will be provided after submission of the application form,” reads the official notice.
