Busy schedules and long shooting days can make elaborate skincare routines difficult to maintain, but Kiara has one rule she refuses to compromise on: removing her makeup before bed. Speaking about the one skincare step she never skips, she said, “Taking my makeup off. Like no matter how late it is, I have to take my makeup off and then sleep.”
Her approach is a reminder that even when time is limited, taking off makeup remains an essential part of winding down after a long day.
The Beauty Lesson She Learnt on Set
When it comes to achieving a polished makeup look that lasts through demanding shooting schedules, Kiara credits good skin preparation. Asked about a beauty trick she learnt on set, she explained, “I think good skin prep. You know, just to make sure your makeup stays on, looks flawless through the day. Definitely a long-wear lipstick.”
For the actress, preparing the skin and choosing a long-wearing lip colour are key elements of a look that needs to hold up throughout the day.
Her Festive Makeup Formula: Mascara and a Bold Lip
Kiara’s festive beauty preferences revolve around two essentials: expressive lashes and a statement lip. She shared, “My go-to festive makeup look is, lots of mascara, because I always like my lashes to do all the talking. And like a bold lip like I’m wearing today, so the Berry Bulfi. This shade is, I mean it’s just, I think especially for Indian skin, it just brings out all your features and looks beautiful. So yeah, I think this would be my, I think my lashes and this beautiful lip and I’m good to go.”
The actress also revealed her current favourite makeup pick, saying, “I mean right now for me, it’s the Maybelline New York Vinyl Mithai Collection. It is like the yummiest, yummiest, yummiest colours.”

Beyond her personal beauty preferences, Kiara is looking forward to experimenting with a more theatrical aesthetic on screen. Discussing her character Nadia in Toxic, she said, “So I think my character Nadia in Toxic, we got to do a lot of fun performance makeup, because she’s, you know, she’s a circus performer. So we got to experiment with bold lips and bold eyes and just go for it, go for the kill. So I think that would be a look from a character of mine that was exciting.”
And when it comes to a beauty affirmation she would like to put out into the universe, Kiara kept it relatable and concise: “May my concealer never crease.”
