Nagpur: City’s para shuttler Abhishek Shalya will participate in the Brazil Para Badminton International tournament slated to be held in Sao Paulo from July 27 to Aug 1.A dedicated athlete of Shuttlers Craze Sports Academy (SCSA), Abhishek will be Nagpur’s first para badminton player to participate in the international tournament.He trains at the Mankapur Stadium under the guidance of BWF-certified coach Chetak Khedikar.Khedikar said, “Abhishek’s participating in international para badminton tournament is a proud moment for Nagpur and the entire badminton fraternity. His dedication, hard work, and determination have made this achievement possible. We are confident that he will make the country proud and wish him the very best on the international stage.”
