Paul Heyman has replied to Stephen A. Smith after the ESPN personality accused the WWE figure of becoming “soft,” and Heyman did not hold back. In a video shared on Instagram, Heyman pushed back at Smith and threw Smith’s own comments right back at him. Smith has said he wants to be like Heyman and would love to learn from him, and he also said he missed and loved Heyman. Heyman used these remarks inside his response, ending with a line about “rumors coming out of our own bedroom.” The exchange comes while Heyman has taken a quieter role around The Vision.

Paul Heyman Turns Stephen A. Smith’s Own Words Back On Him

Smith has made it very clear that Heyman is someone he wants to learn from. He said earlier he would love to be like The Oracle, and he also told Heyman that he missed and loved him.

Heyman didn’t just ignore but replied to them. He directly rejected Smith’s claim that he had become soft, saying Smith was the only person who was “soft” in the conversation. The video ended with Heyman adding, “Let’s not talk about rumors coming out of our own bedroom.”

Smith also finished his own video by saying he missed and loved Heyman, and then he added that he loved himself too. Heyman had mentioned Smith’s comments in several videos while replying to him.

Heyman Has Stepped Away From The Vision While Watching Oba Femi

Heyman’s exchange with Smith comes when his WWE role became more quiet. He was working with The Vision before Seth Rollins suffered an injury, and then he spent several months alongside Bron Breakker after Rollins was out.

Maxxine Dupri has since stepped into that managerial role, and Heyman is watching the things from a distance. At Money in the Bank, he was seen backstage watching Oba Femi’s match against Bronson Reed.

Heyman has been keeping an eye on Femi since Brock Lesnar called him the future of WWE at SummerSlam. Breakker has issues with Lesnar’s claim, and Reed also wanted to make a statement after returning.

Femi beat Reed at Money in the Bank despite interference from three members of The Vision. Heyman’s last update also said the issues were not over while Femi was still breathing. Honestly, when a man like Heyman says this, people should listen carefully. What he does next depends on him. Stay tuned for more updates.
