Real Madrid fans launch Mbappe Out petition with over 26.5 million signatures, criticising his tactics, attitude, injury trip to Italy and lack of trophies since his arrival.

Kylian Mbappe is facing mounting backlash from sections of the Real Madrid fanbase, with frustration over the French superstar reportedly reaching unprecedented levels despite his impressive individual numbers this season.
Mbappe’s long-awaited move to the Santiago Bernabeu was expected to usher in a new era of dominance for Madrid. While the forward has delivered in front of goal, scoring 41 times this campaign, his performances and behaviour off the pitch have reportedly divided opinion among supporters, teammates and members of the coaching staff.
The dissatisfaction has now spilt online, where a petition demanding that the club part ways with Mbappe has gained significant traction. Titled ‘Mbappe Out‘, the campaign has reportedly gathered more than 26.5 million (26,560,910) signatures from frustrated fans.
The tagline for the petition reads: “Madridistas, make your voice heard. If you believe change is needed, don’t stay silent — sign this petition and stand for what you think is best for the club’s future.”
Why Real Madrid Fans Want Kylian Mbappe Out?
Initially, criticism of Kylian Mbappe focused largely on tactical concerns. Many supporters believed Real Madrid looked more balanced without him leading the attack, particularly during a successful stretch before the March international break. During that run, Los Blancos recorded five straight victories, including crucial wins over Manchester City in the Champions League and key domestic results.
However, attention has now shifted towards reports of unrest inside the dressing room. Recent stories have suggested Mbappe was involved in a dispute with a member of the coaching staff, with some at the club viewing him as increasingly isolated from his teammates and exhibiting an “overly individualistic nature.”
Further anger was sparked after the Frenchman reportedly travelled to Italy for a holiday while recovering from a hamstring injury, shortly before El Clasico. The trip did not sit well with many fans, especially as teammates like Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham continued fighting for results on the pitch.
