The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the SWAYAM January 2026 Admit Card on its official website. Candidates who have registered for the Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) January semester examinations can now download their hall tickets by logging in with their credentials.The examinations are scheduled to be held from June 17 to June 21, 2026, at centres across the country. This session covers around 900 courses offered through the SWAYAM online learning platform.Before releasing the admit cards, NTA had issued the advance city intimation slip to help candidates know the city of their examination centre and make travel arrangements. The agency had clarified that the city slip was not the admit card.
How to download SWAYAM January 2026 admit card
Candidates can follow these steps to download their hall ticket:
- Visit the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/swayam
- Click on the “Admit Card” link on the homepage
- Log in using your application number or registered email ID and password
- The admit card will appear on the screen
- Download the admit card
- Check all details carefully and take a printout for future use
- Direct link to download
The agency has also clarified that the admit card has been issued provisionally and does not confirm final eligibility. Eligibility will be verified at a later stage.
SWAYAM Exam pattern
The examinations will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and Hybrid mode, depending on the course.Each paper will generally have a duration of three hours. Most question papers will be available in English, except for language-specific courses.For most courses, the examination will carry 100 marks. The question pattern may differ from one course to another. Some papers will have 100 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each, while others may have 50 multiple-choice questions carrying two marks each.Certain courses conducted in hybrid mode may also include a combination of multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions and long-answer questions.
