Tata has launched a new Pure+ PS trim for the Nexon compact SUV. The new trim is positioned between the mid-spec Pure+ S and Creative trims, and with a price tag of Rs 9.59 lakh, it has made the Nexon the most affordable car in India with a panoramic sunroof. It is being offered with the 118hp turbo-petrol, 99hp CNG and 113hp diesel engines with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Tata has revealed that the new Pure+ PS trim is offered with a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 6 speakers (2 more than the lower-spec Pure+ S trim), cruise control and powered outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs). It also gets automatic LED headlights, rear parking camera with sensors and rain-sensing wipers. As mentioned earlier, it is the most affordable car in India with a panoramic sunroof, which was earlier offered from the Creative+ PS trim, priced at Rs 11.32 lakh, thus making this feature Rs 1.73 lakh more affordable on the Nexon.
While Tata has yet to reveal the full feature suite, it is expected to borrow amenities like a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 4-inch multi-information display (MID), rear AC vents, all four power windows and steering wheel-mounted controls from the Pure+ S trim.
