Tamil Nadu HSE +2 results 2024: Pass Percentage of Previous Years
In 2023, over 8.51 lakh students from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry took the TN Board HSC exams. Of the 8.51 lakh students, as many as 5.36 lakh were in the science stream, over 2.54 lakh were in the commerce stream, around 14,000 were in the arts stream, and about 46,000 were in the vocational stream. As many as 755,451 students or 94.03 per cent passed in total last year. The passing rate for female students was 96.38 per cent and the pass rate for male students was 91.45 per cent. Puducherry district’s pass rate was 92.67 per cent, with 85.38 per cent coming from public schools. 3,923 PwD pupils out of 4,398 overall passed the TN Board 12th exam in 2023.
In 2022, around 912,00 students appeared out of which 8,21,000 lakh students passed. The pass rates for the Tamil Nadu TNDGE Class 12 exam in 2022 were 93.80%.
In the year 2021, there was a 100 per cent pass percentage. Out of 816,473 lakh students, there was an equal 100 per cent pass percentage for both girls and male candidates.
There was a 92.3 per cent overall pass percentage in the year 2020. Out of 779,931 lakh students, over 720,209 students passed. The passing rate for female students was 94.8 per cent and for male students was 89.41 per cent.
What after the TNDGE 12th result?
Students who pass the exam successfully have the option of pursuing undergraduate or diploma programmes of their choice. Soon after the announcement of the TN HSC result 2024, college and university admissions will open. Students must take entrance exams who wish to pursue careers in engineering, medicine, or other professional fields.
