Int2Cruises has introduced Price Alert, a feature that allows travellers to track cruise price movements before deciding when to book. The tool is available under the platform’s Last Minute Deals section for 30-day and 90-day sailing windows.The launch comes as Indian travellers increasingly book cruises closer to their sailing dates. According to the Int2Cruises India Cruise Trends Report, 69 per cent of Indian cruise bookings are made within 90 days of sailing, while 47 per cent of Asia cruise bookings take place within 45 days.With bookings concentrated closer to departure, cruise prices can change during the decision-making period based on demand and availability. Int2Cruises said Price Alert is designed to give travellers greater visibility into these movements rather than showing only the fare available at a particular point in time.Travellers can select a cruise they are considering and track its price over time. The feature sends an alert when there is a change, allowing users to see whether the fare has increased, decreased or remained stable before making a booking.“We wanted to move the conversation from ‘What is the price today?’ to ‘How is the price moving? Indian cruisers are making cruise decisions much closer to sailing, and during the window, prices can change based on demand and availability,” said Akansha Agarwal, Co-founder & CMO, Int2Cruises.“With Price Alert, travellers can follow a sailing they are considering and stay informed about its price movement instead of relying only on what they see at one point in time. The idea is to give travellers more information to help them decide when to book,” Agarwal added.The company said the feature is part of its focus on using technology to simplify the cruise-booking process and improve price transparency for Indian travellers.
