Trains: SECR cancels trains from Itwari due to limited height subway work | Nagpur News



Nagpur: With the Nagpur division of South East Central Railway (SECR) taking up limited height subway (LHS) pushing work at Itwari railway station, several trains have been cancelled from May 7 to 30, 2024.
With ongoing summer vacation, the cancellation of these trains will affect thousands of passengers traveling to Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and eastern parts of Maharashtra.Most of these trains are MEMUs that connect not only roadside stations but also major cities.
The trains that have been canceled include From May 8 to 11, Dongargarh-Gondia-Dongargarh passenger train. Besides, Gondia-Itwari-Gondia MEMU will also remain cancelled.
A SECR release said during the same period operations of Itwari-Ramtek-Itwari passenger will also remain suspended. The passenger between Itwari-Balaghat-Itwari and Itwari-Tirodi-Itwari and Tumsar-Tirodi-Tumsar has also been cancelled.
Similarly, from May 8 to 11, Nagpur-Sahdol-Nagpur Express will remain canceled. TNN
