The Utah Office of Tourism, the official state agency responsible for promoting travel, advertising and economic growth across Utah, USA, has appointed Sartha Global Marketing LLP as its representative in India. The appointment marks Utah’s continued focus on expanding its presence in the growing Indian outbound travel market.Sartha Global Marketing will lead Utah’s engagement with India’s travel trade and media through public relations and marketing initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of the destination and positioning the state as a year-round US destination for Indian travellers.India’s importance as an international source market for Utah has been increasing. The country ranked ninth in visitor spending for the state in 2025, while forecasts indicate that visitor spending from India could grow by 16% between 2024 and 2030.The projected growth is expected to be supported by long-haul travel demand, improved air connectivity into the US and growing interest among Indian travellers in experiential and nature-led itineraries.Utah offers a mix of outdoor and urban experiences, including skiing and snowboarding, whitewater rafting, boating, hiking, biking and fishing.
