The West Bengal Higher Secondary Education Council or WBCHSE has announced the date for publishing the results of Higher Secondary exams 2026. The results of Higher Secondary will be published on May 14. According to the council sources, the results will be published at 10.30 am. Candidates will be able to check the results on various websites from 11 am, WBCHSE stated.

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (WBCHSE) said in a notification on Wednesday. This year, the Higher Secondary Examination was held from February 12 to 27. Over 7 lakh students are now awaiting their results.

To check the results, students can use their roll number and registration number on the official websites of WBCHSE at wbchse.wb.gov.in or wbresults.nic.in. The results will be published 85 days after the end of the examination.

To pass the West Bengal Class 12th Uccha Madhyamik Exams 2025, students must obtain a minimum of 33 per cent marks in each subject. Candidates who score at least 480 or above will be placed in the first division in WB 12th result, while those who score between 360 and 479 will be placed in the second category. The third division will be assigned to scores between 272 and 359.

Step 2: Click on the West Bengal Uccha Madhyamik Result 2026 link on the webpage

Step 3: On the browser, a new page will be displayed.

Step 4: Enter the roll number and press the submit button.

Step 5: Your West Bengal Class 12th result will be shown on the screen. Take a printout

A total of 4,82,948 candidates registered for the West Bengal Board HS exam in 2025, of which 4,73,919 appeared and 4,30,286 passed. Last year, the overall pass percentage for the West Bengal Class 12 HS results was 90.79%. Male students recorded a pass rate of 92.38%, while the pass percentage for female students stood at 88.18%.
