Amazon India and Odisha’s Directorate of Textiles have signed an MoU to onboard eligible weavers and artisans on Amazon Karigar.
It will extend e-commerce access to over 130,000 Odisha weavers and artisans, including makers of nine GI-tagged handlooms.
Support covers onboarding, training, account management, imaging, cataloguing and marketing to help sellers reach customers nationwide.
