Vithya Ramraj has won a bronze medal for India in the women’s 400m hurdles event at the ongoing Asian Games 2026. The 28-year-old track and field athlete from Tamil Nadu finished the race with a personal-best timing of 54.75 seconds to secure a podium finish.

Vithya Ramraj had also won a bronze medal for India in the same event at the 2022 edition of the Asian Games.

Mariam Kareem of the UAE won the gold medal with a Games record timing of 54.31 seconds, while Adelina Zems of Kazakhstan finished second with a timing of 54.58 seconds.

Anu Raghavan also featured in the final and she finished fifth with timings of 55.88 seconds.
